Organic sulfur compound as an all-rounder

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) supplier

Methylsulfonylmethane or MSM is a colourless, odourless, organic sulfur-based compound and an important element in many amino acids. This makes sulfur an essential element in various biochemical metabolic pathways. Due to its diverse health-promoting properties, MSM is mainly used as a food supplement, which is offered to improve joint health and reduce inflammation.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is used in the processing industry as a food supplement in food and animal feed.

Sulfur is an essential mineral that our body cannot produce itself and must therefore be added to food. In total, the body contains about 0.2% sulfur. This means that its share is 40 times higher than that of iron.

Methylsulfonylmethane is used to relieve many ailments, including allergies and arthritis. The primary biological role of MSM is that of being an antioxidant, where it helps reduce oxidative stress and protect cells from damage. In addition, MSM has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that can be beneficial in reducing pain and inflammation associated with certain diseases. Furthermore, it is used to strengthen the immune system's defences and improve digestion.
